Hunt...This came through from Lon (via Facebook) ..
Hunting Lodge
This is Lon - the other person sharing blame for Hunting Lodge.
Glad that Skott and Jeff came to your rescue.
Went to MuhMur - very interesting stuff. Will peruse the site further as time permits.
Wanted to clarify some Shame/Exposure info>>> Paul never played with us in Hunting Lodge. We did two live shows in which we shared the bill with him (both of our Harrington Ballroom shows - one of them captured for the S/M Operations Live @ The Harrington Ballroom cassette). The cassette Biohazard/Isolation was hand-made by Paul - we merely included it on our mail-order sheet. We still speak to him regularly - I will pass on your Blog for him.
Best,
-LCD
Hey - Skott and I "roadied" for SPK, also - well, one night in Chicago we pushed their dead Van down the road while Graeme watched. Ever the Supermensch, that one....Stevehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00768863335845782635noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1126118203274498241.post-65041557516192389502014-01-02T10:49:34.712+00:002014-01-02T10:49:34.712+00:00I remember way back members of the Bracknell Chopp...I remember way back members of the Bracknell Chopper Club went into the Red Lion pub and removed (with knive's) the Bracknell Lepers patches because they were thought of as not a proper bike club. I.e none of them owned a bike that was running. They were either up on bricks in a backyard or in rusty pieces behind a bus. The BCC metered out this justice as a matter of honour for their own club to be taken seriously and it worked.
In Knox Mitchell's case he probably has a cassette deck, but its up on bricks. He's in the metaphorical pub of life when he should be attempting to dub and full fill orders but there's just no inclination of doing this in his world, who wants to waste time and energy on a 8 buck cassette anyway?!.
I did receive 2 cassettes I ordered from Knox Mitchell but took far too long than I would of liked. Excuse this time was "moving house", "boxes all over the place". That made me wonder if he'd probably done a runner from his last place or mom and dad had had enough of his bullshit and kicked him out. Whatever the issue was it is of no concern.
It would be great to have some sort of retribution for Green Tapes and someone go in (if he could be found!) and take out his "tape decks" (if they exist! see metaphorical pub!) once and for all with a sledge. Just a reality check to give him the needed wake up call that he cannot run or be held to account to run a 'tape' label. This doesn't mean by sending out blank tapes could make you a tape label either.
I'll never order anything from him again. It just makes me wonder how he can still go on duping people again and again, surely his meager client base must be near or close to non-existant?! Its a new year and a new start. Knox Mitchell just throw up your hands and say to yourself "Enough, already".Mark Durganhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10393711503332013255noreply@blogger.com
